Color Scheme Retirement

The Color Scheme setting that allows accounts to customize colors for the top Global Navigation Tabs and grid headers will be retired and removed from availability by January 1, 2023.

The e-Builder team continues to pursue broad inclusivity and therefore accessibility to all persons through alignment of product functionality to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Text-based elements must have a minimum color contrast to assist users with compromised vision.

Additionally, some of the elements that are affected by the Color Scheme will be significantly re-designed or replaced with our New Navigation initiative. The current color scheme elements will no longer be applicable to the new components.

The Color Scheme setting will enter the following Product Lifecycle Phases:

Impact

All accounts will be reverted to the e-Builder default color schemes.

Actions Needed

You may wish to pro-actively return to the e-Builder default colors now. You can do this under Setup > Settings > Color Scheme and click the Return to Defaults button.
